mass of electron

Postby hannahdaijo_4H » Thu Oct 25, 2018 5:30 pm

Is the mass of an electron something we should memorize?

They give it to us on the test. I checked my last test and it gave us the electron's mass so I'm assuming it'll be given on this test as well. However, it wouldn't hurt to memorize it. Hope this helps!

Most constants and equations are provided during the exam so you don't have to memorize them all.

It might be faster when doing calculations to memorize the value, however, most constants and equations can be found on a reference sheet during an exam.

The mass of the electron is given in the "Constants and Equations" sheet, although just realize when to switch from grams to kilograms when calculating equations calculating energy in general.

Yes, it is listed in the equations sheet in the front.

The link below lists all of the given:

As the previous comment stated, you just have to know when to convert that to another unit.
