Homework problem 1B. 15

Could someone please explain how in step c of homework problem 1B.15 you get from E light equalling 2.25x10^-17J to the wavelength equalling 8.8x10^-9m. What is the equation to connect energy of light and wavelength?

I believe the equation used was (hc/E)=λ, E is found from the answer to part b, h is Planck's constant, and c is represented by 2.99792 x 10^8.

You have to use E=hν and c = λ ν to get from energy to wavelength. Another way to write c = λ ν is ν=c/λ. If you substitute that into E=hν, you end up with E=hc/λ. If you reorder the variables, you can also get λ=hc/E.
