Atomic Spectra

In homework problem 15 from section 1B, part d asks what what kind of electromagnetic radiation was used from a wavelength of 8.8 nm. The answer was x-ray/gamma rays, however, is this something we will have to know for exams?

During the midterm review session, she said we most likely don't need to memorize it but just to somewhat know visible light and gamma rays (if I remember correctly).

We are probably only expected to know that visible light falls under the region of 400-700nm and ultraviolet light is 10-400nm.
