### Deriving the de Broglie Equation

On Outline 2 it says we need to know how to derive the de Broglie equation. Can someone explain to me how to do this?

But basically, you used the idea of E=mc^2 and the equation E=hv and $v/\lambda$ to create the equation $\lambda =hv/mv^2=h/mv$
