Solutions with pOH

Postby Fatima Valenzuela 3k » Fri Dec 08, 2023 11:18 pm

Hi everyone,

I have no idea how to do question 5 on the homework. It gives a hint with formulas but not sure where to go from that. The homework question is determine the H+,OH-, pH using such solutions provided. How do I find each individually?

There should be formulas to plug in what is given! For example for the first part of the problem you can find pH by plugging in H+ into -log(H+). Then you can find pOH by subtracting pH from 14 and taking that to find (OH-) with the formula 10^-pOH. I hope this helps.
