Help on 2.45

I need help on part c and d of 2.45. Please include steps on how to do them too.
2.45: Which elements are predicted to have the following ground-state electron configurations:
(c) [He]2s^22p^2
(d) [Rn]7s^26d^2

c. Start on you periodic table at helium. Then move to the next row to Lithium to enter the 2s orbital. The 2 p block starts at Boron and the second element in the p block is carbon. The answer is carbon.

d. We were not assigned this part.

Regardless, for d you basically do the same process as you do for c:
Since you have some 7s electrons, you'll be looking at the 7th period (row). And basically you go to the second element in the d-block which is Rutherfordium.

The only problem here is that the question doesn't include the 5f elements in the electron configuration (Rutherfordium would actually be 5f14 6d2 7s2), but I think it's just because the textbook's periodic table doesn't include the f orbitals when describing the d-block's electron configurations.
