I'm not sure if you have taken chemistry or AP Chemistry in high school, but a good resource is the ap books as they supply some of the same information learned in class. I know the ap books break it down and are much easier to comprehend than some sections in this textbook. So for refreshers, you can always turn to those. Khan Academy is the best resource in my opinion. Also, youtube videos by topics are the best.
Since there are no longer modules, I would recommend watching a video of the specific topic or going over lecture notes and then do all the homework problems assigned. Since it is guaranteed there will be a problem from the homework on the test, it would be beneficial to go through all problems and make sure you understand them.
