Postby Claudeth Martinez 1D » Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:19 pm

Does anyone know the requirements to have a hydrogen bond?
Thank You!

So hydrogen bonds occur only between a hydrogen atom and a Nitrogen, Oxygen, or Fluorine atom since they are very electronegative.

Stemming from what the person above said, hydrogen bonds are intermolecular not intramolecar...They are also make the strongest bonds

a weak bond between two molecules resulting from an electrostatic attraction between a proton in one molecule and an electronegative atom in the other.
