What is the difference between intra and inter molecular forces?

Intramolecular forces are those that bind elements together, so for example covalent and ionic bonds.
Intermolecular forces are those that bind molecules or whole compounds together, so LDFs or H-Bonds.

Intramolecular forces are those that bind the atoms within the molecule. Intermolecular forces bind the molecules together.

Intermolecular forces are forces between two (or more) independent molecules. These forces attract other molecules. For example, two water molecules have a hydrogen bond between them. Dipole-dipole and London Dispersion forces are also examples.

Intramolecular forces are the forces between atoms within one molecule. This is what covalent bonds, ionic bonds, and metallic bonds are. Intramolecular forces make up a compound/molecule.
