Format of midterm?
Does anyone know if the questions on the midterm will only have free-response questions like Test 1?

Re: Format of midterm?
I believe the entire test will be free response questions like the first one, but I am not 100% sure.

Like our first test, I'm pretty sure the test will all be free response because the practice midterm given to us by the UA's is also all free responses.

Here is what's posted online:
Midterm is 2 hours, 8 questions.
Midterm covers all material up to the end of Focus 2D in Outline 3:
Chemical Bonds.
Questions will come from the Homework and Online Assessments.

Seeing that it's only 8 questions, I'm 90% sure it will be multiple step free response.

Re: Format of midterm?
I think the midterm will be all free-response because all of the practice problems given usually are as well.

Re: Format of midterm?
Would we still be given partial credit for questions on the midterm like Test 1 or no?

Re: Format of midterm?
When it says questions come from hw and online, does this mean word for word or just similar format/topic?

Re: Format of midterm?
Are the questions going to be verbatim from the homework or do they just mean a similar format?

I am pretty sure, even though we are separated from our last name to the lectures we have. But I think it would be graded by our TA's.

Re: Format of midterm?
Given that there are only 8 questions, the chances of there being a multiple choice question part is highly unlikely. So as everyone has stated, it's almost definitely gonna be a majority, if not all, free-response questions.
