Periodic Table and Equation Sheet

Postby Lillian » Sun Nov 15, 2020 3:21 pm

This is pretty off-topic, but I think I may have missed some information during the discussions... I don't know where to find the given periodic table and equations sheet to print. Can someone point me towards it? Thanks :)

The periodic table and equation sheet can be found on his chemistry website! You can find that in the section URLs in CCLE.

You can find it on the tops of the class website under "Constants and Equations" and "Periodic Table" https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/class-websites/chem14a/
I hope this helps! :)

And on a similar note, does anyone know if these sheets will be updated or are they the same from midterm 1? I am not trying to print another two sheets if they are the same.

Thank you.

They are on Dr. Lavelle's website, but I'll provide you direct links to make it easier:

Constants and Equations: https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/wp-conten ... ations.pdf

Periodic Table: https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/wp-conten ... _IUPAC.pdf

I'm pretty sure they won't be updated since there are constants and equations in there that we haven't used!

Thank you! I was looking around on CCLE and I couldn't find it lol. This helped me a lot!

Are we able to annotate on the sheets? I'm pretty sure it's a no but I want to make sure.

Unfortunately the sheets have to be completely blank for exams, so we can't annotate on them for the upcoming midterm. But that shouldn't discourage you from annotating in general if that helps you study (I've been doing that)! Just make sure to use a CLEAN copy when you take the second midterm + final.

While you shouldn't annotate the periodic table/equation sheets themselves, what I like to do is: if I have any comments or equations I want to remember before the test, I'll just quickly memorize them and when the test begins, jot them down on a piece of paper AFTER THE MIDTERM STARTS so that I can forget about it and come back later!

No, we aren't allowed to have annotations on our sheets during the actual midterm but it helps to annotate on a practice copy to cement them in your head before the exam.

We aren't allowed to annotate our periodic table before the test, but I usually write a annotate one before, and then after the test starts write everything on the page so I don't forget.
