If there is a triple bond in a molecule, does that mean there will be one sigma bond and two pi bonds?

Yes! There can only be one sigma bond between atoms

Single Bond = 1 sigma bond
Double Bond = 1 sigma bond; 1 pi bond
Triple Bond = 1 sigma bond, 2 pi bonds
