Re: Strength of bonds
Since a sigma bond is present in every covalent bond, but a pi bond is only present in double and triple bonds, I would assume that the bond between atoms with a pi bond is stronger since a double bond is stronger than a single bond. I'm not sure if a sigma bond is individually weaker than a pi bond though. Hope this helps
Re: Strength of bonds
I agree, I think pi bonds should be stronger since they are present in double and triple bonds (which are stronger than single bonds) while sigma bonds are only in single bonds.

Re: Strength of bonds
I think bonds are stronger when pi bonds are present rather than only sigma bond being present since the strength of bond order is triple bond>double bond>single bond.

Re: Strength of bonds
Pi bonds are probably stronger because they are found in double and triple bonds while sigma bonds are found in any covalent bond.
