Polyatomic Ions
Would we be expected to memorize/know the charges of polyatomic ions/molecules for the test/midterm?

Unless we cover how to find them in class, I think they will likely give us the charges.

It may be a good idea to know a few of the basic ones, such as sulfate and ammonium. Otherwise, I think they will be provided or stick to the common ones.

I think you don't have to, but I also think that as we go along and do more problems that use common elements like that you'll start to memorize their charges anyways
