NASR Method

NASR Method
Does anyone use the NASR method when determining how to draw the lewis structure? That's what I've been doing but I'm wondering if should just not do that and go by how Dr. Lavelle does it.

I have never heard of that method before! I looked it up though and saw it being called the "NASL" method though and also found this:
"There are no “perfect” methods for writing Lewis structures. The NASL method makes counting electrons and no. of bonds (shared electron pairs) easier." I feel that as long as you are getting all of the practice problems and HW correct while using that method, it would be fine to draw your structures using that method.
