Is it critical to know how to draw and add bonds to Kekule structures for the quiz?

no. just everything thats on chapter 3 :)

Kekule structures is in Chapter 3, but it's just a fancier version of a Lewis structure that shows its shape. We would be told if the molecule would have a cyclic/ring structure, and then we can form our Lewis structures based on that.

just Know how to do your Lewis structures and you’ll be good! Make sure to know resonance structures, radicals, and all that

No, it might be nice to know Kekulé structures, however, for the exams they would want us to write out the entire Lewis Structure

i think the most important thing to know about kekule structures is how to draw resonant structures for molecules that form rings
