Visual structure of resonance structure

Hey, can somebody explain how resonance structure look like visually? How can an electron be divided or separated into different multiple bonds or is resonance structure just conceptually viable?

In real life, molecules look like a blend of all the different resonance structures that can be drawn since they have the same bond length. You can tell that a molecule has resonance if it you can change the number of bonds between different atoms within a molecule without changing the location of those atoms.

Visually, the resonance structure would look like the average of the different structures drawn. It would have bond lengths that average the different possibilities, but it cannot be drawn like that realistically on paper.

The electrons are not divided! Resonance just means that there are multiple possibilities for how the electrons are distributed around the structure.
