Drawing Resonance Structures
Is there a quicker way to draw resonance structures or is the only way to just redraw the structure with the different double bonds?

Re: Drawing Resonance Structures
Unless they specify to draw all forms of the resonance structure, I don't think that we have to but yes I believe the only way for now is to just redraw the bonds in different locations.

I think you just need to redraw the structures with the different double bonds. If the question asks to, then you would find the most ideal structure using formal charge and just draw that one.

Re: Drawing Resonance Structures
I went to a review session, and the TA said that you can either draw all the structures and explain that the actual structure is a hybrid or for example, if it is a double bond resonance, you can draw a single line and a dotted line for the second bond to represent the resonance.
