textbook 2c.1

Which of the following species are radicals? TRUE(a)NO2 (TRUEb)HC3 (FALSE)c)OH FALSE(d)CH2O

I'm confused about why OH is not considered a radical. The e- add up to be 6+1=7, which is an odd number. I could understand if the presented molecule was OH- but it was given as OH neutral.

Hi, that's strange! OH actually is a hydroxyl radical--i'm not sure why it wouldn't be considered as one. I checked the answer key and it seems it does consider OH as a radical though.
