Hello,
Can anyone explain how to find coordination compounds, and also explain what they are, thank you.

A coordination compound is is a compound where a central metal atom is surrounded by molecules known as ligands, which donate unbound electrons to the metal and bind to it.

Hi, coordinate compounds are molecules or ions that consist of a central metal binding to one or more ligands. These ligands are molecules that can donate an electron pair to create a covalent bond between it and the metal. To determine if something is a coordinate compound, you can check to see if there is a transition metal, ligands, and structural complexity.
