Homework #7

Identify the Lewis acid and Lewis base in each of the reactions.
Are supposed to remember which specific reactions donate or accept electrons? I know that a Lewis base donates, and a Lewis acid accepts electrons.

Often, metals donate electrons to nonmetals, which can help you determine the Lewis acid and Lewis base. Think about which molecule often becomes a positively charged ion and gives up their electrons and which often becomes negative and accepts electrons. The more electronegative an atom is, the more acidic it is, as it will not want to donate any electrons.
