Re: Polarizability and electronegativity
Polarizability is the tendency for a dipole to be formed. Electronegativity is the tendency of an atom to attract electrons in a molecule. Elements with high polarizability have less electronegativity.

Re: Polarizability and electronegativity
Polarizability is the formation of dipoles, making these flexible. Electronegativity is the capability of the atom to attract shared pair electron towards itself. So higher polarizability tend to have weaker pulls towards itself, making it less electronegative.

Re: Polarizability and electronegativity
As you go upwards and towards the right on the periodic table, the electronegativity of the elements generally increase and therefore, conversely, polarizability decreases at the same time.
