Quiz 2 Question 1

Postby Allison_Eminhizer_3A » Thu Oct 27, 2016 10:13 am

Ok so one of the compounds we're being asked to compare is H2S. In order to determine its electronegativity I'm assuming I'd have to double Hydrogens electronegativity, but I don't know that value. Will we be given the value? If not how would I approach that.

Do you remember the specific question? Is this on the workbook quiz without the solutions?

Yes this one was without the solutions, I handed in my workbook so I don't know the exact question but I remember we had to compare the electronegativity of multiple compounds, and I didn't know how to go about an element with a subscript, as in H2S.

Return to “Electronegativity”
