Which bond has more ionic character, C–F or C–Br? Why?

C-F has more ionic character than C-Br because the electronegativity difference between C and F is greater than that of C and Br. Also, since we know that Fluorine is the most electronegative element, the shared electrons will be more strongly pulled towards Fluorine inn C-F than towards Bromine inn C-Br.

C-F has more ionic character than C-Br because C is more electronegative than Br.
