London Dispersion Force

Postby Malakai_S_2C » Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:49 pm

Hi all!

Can someone clarify to me how we can tell a molecule has LDF? Are all molecules LDF by default because of a bond? I guess that leads into what makes a molecule considered LDF?

Technically, all molecules can have LDF since it's an intermolecular force. However, a nonpolar molecule can have only LDF.
