Will we actually be using the equation or is It just a reference?

I don't think you need to use it, but you do need to understand the parameters and what it represents.

I think at most you may be asked a conceptual question in the future, but I wouldn't stress about the math.

Does anyone know what kind of conceptual question could be asked regarding this topic? I don't seem to know where in my notes this was discussed. Thank you!
