Identify the kinds of intermolecular forces that might arise between molecules of each of the following substances: (a) NH2OH; (b) CBr4; (c) H2SeO4; (d) SO2.

a) Hydrogen since there's H & N atoms, dipole-dipole since there's dipole moments all around, and london forces since all molecules have london forces
b) london, no dipole since the Br atoms cancel the dipole moments because of the symmetry
c) london, hydrogen since theres H & O atoms, dipole-dipole because of the asymmetry with Se
d) london, dipole-dipole because if you draw the lewis structure, you see theres asymmetry with a lone pair
