How can you determine what the angles between the bonds are?

Write the Lewis structure, including lone pairs, Use VESPR method to determine shape by dividing 360 by the electron domain (think of how many 'branches' are in that molecule)

You can divide 360 degrees by the number of atoms attached to a central atom to determine bond angles of a compound. For example, a linear VSEPR structure would have 180 degree bond angles since 360/2 is 180. You can also figure out that compounds with lone pairs will have slightly smaller bond angles than without.
