Bond strength

When considering the following molecules, which has the strongest bond to hydrogen?
a. CH4
b. HF
c. H2S
d. SiH4
e. H2O
I had chosen CH4 for no reason really, i just want to understand what makes HF the strongest bond.

HF has the shortest bond length. Because of Coulomb's law, a shorter bond means a stronger bond.

HF has the shortest bond, which is the strongest, because flourine and hydrogen are relatively small molecules and due to the high electronegativity of F, it also can hold H closer to it.

An important thing to remember is that Fluorine has the highest electronegativity across the entire periodic table. Fluorine is the most electronegative followed by Oxygen, Carbon, Sulfur, then Silicon. The electronegativity difference between Hydrogen and Fluorine will be greater than in the other molecules. Also, shorter bonds are strongest, and because Fluorine is so small its bond length will also be shorter.
