Bond length is inversely related to bond strength. Generally, shorter bond lengths indicate stronger bonds because the nuclei of the bonded atoms are closer, leading to a stronger attractive force between them. However, other factors, such as the nature of the atoms involved and the presence of multiple bonds, also influence bond strength, so bond length alone may not be sufficient for a comprehensive prediction.

Bond length is always related to bond strength, as someone else stated. Intuitively this makes sense as well: if the bond is stronger, or the amount of pull the bond has on the nuclei, it must be shorter. This is also why double and triple bonds are shorter, and stronger, than single bonds.
