Boltzmann’s Equation

Postby Hanadi Kamal 1J » Wed Feb 21, 2024 1:24 pm

For the Boltzmann’s equation, if there are two moles of a molecule would we multiply Avogadro's number by 2 so it becomes (Number of orientations) ^2*6.0221 x 10^23.

Or where do the two moles come into play because I know that when it is just one mole, it would be just the number of orientations to Avogadro's number. Thank you for the help!

Yes, you are correct, since the degeneracy depends on the number of molecules you would need to multiply moles by avogadro's constant.
