Shorter bond length always leads to stronger bond?

Does shorter bond length always leads to stronger bond? Any exceptions?

Yes, in general, a shorter bond length means a stronger bond. Atoms that are closer together are bonded more strongly to each other, and those that are far apart have a weak bond. Triple and double bonds are much stronger than single bonds because they are shorter, allowing the atoms to be closer together and the bonds are harder to break apart.

I'm not entirely sure if there's any exceptions, but I hope this helps!

I read in the chemistry textbook that "the higher the bond order, the stronger the pull between the two atoms and the shorter the bond length."
This means that the smaller the bond length the stronger the bond is. Small bond length consists of the radii of atom. So generally the smaller in radii the atom is the stronger the bond will be and this is mostly because the electrons and closer together to the nucleus creating a strong bond.

I believe so. I am not aware of any exceptions.

What if two atoms have the same type of bond? (ie. a double bond). Does this mean that they have the same length and strength?

They should usually lead to stronger bond lengths.
