### Bond Angles

When you have a molecule that is a tetrahedral in respect to the electron geometry but it has 1 lone pair or 2 would we just say the angles are less than 109.5 or would we have to be more specific?

In this case I believe having your answer written as <109.5 is fine, my TA usually doesn't require us to be more specific than that unless the problem specifically states such.

i was told that when there is one lone pair, the angles between the lone pair and the atom would be >109.5 and the angles between two atoms would be <109.5 .

Typically you do not have to be that specific. However, I believe in my section it was said 1 lone pair is more than 109.5 and 2 is less than 109.5 too.
