Bond lengths and resonance structure

Do you just take the averages of the bond lengths in a resonance structure?

yes, so if one has bonds of 140 pm and the other has length of 120 pm, the average would be 130 pm.

Yes, to determine the bond length in a molecule that exhibits resonance, finding the average bond length is used
