Dissociation Energy

how do you calculate the dissociation energy of a bond?

I believe if we are asked to calculate something with dissociation energies, a table will most likely be given. I don't think we have gone over a formula to determine such values.

I don't think we will need to know how to calculate the dissociation energy of a bond since I'm pretty sure that is experimentally determined. I do think we need to know how to compare different bond strengths though.
