Postby NoniBayar 2J » Sat Dec 09, 2023 12:07 am

Does anyone have any tips on memorizing bond angles? Thanks!

Conceptualize that as the atoms move closer together, the bond angles will be smaller. I listed them out in order of decreasing size and realized that their prefixes correspond to the shapes where those angles are commonly found.

I personally draw them out and the angle that they make for example an acute angle or something that looks like an equilateral triangle is what i use to determine the angle and so far it has worked for me
