If you draw out the dipole moments for this compound, you'll find that they do not cancel out, for the dipoles should point from the H towards the C and from the C to the N. These vectors are not direct opposites from each other so they will not cancel out and you will get resultant vectors. You can determine which way the dipoles point toward by using their respective electronegativities, with the dipoles pointing toward the element with the higher electronegativity. Since the dipoles do not cancel out for this molecule, you can determine that it is polar.
