Drawing Models

Postby Natalie Espadas 1A » Sat Jul 22, 2017 10:03 pm

When drawing the models, are we able to leave the answer like the bottom image? or do we have to compress the bonds when a lone pair is present? I asked my peer learning facilitator about this and she said it was okay to leave it without compressing the bonds, but I just want to make sure if we can leave the answer like the bottom image or not. Thank you in advance!

We will accept both as valid Lewis structures.
