VSEPR

In VSEPR model, since single, double, and triple bonds are considered equivalent regions of high e- density, does resonance really matter?

Yeah, even though you need resonance to draw the correct Lewis structure, resonance does not affect VSEPR and therefore, the shape of the molecule.

Is there anything else that would affect the VESPR model?

I think the only concerns regarding VSEPR models are the areas of electron denisty (lone pairs and bonds).
