Bond Angles

Does a tetrahedral shape always have 109.5 degree angles?
For what shapes are the angles >109.5 and <109.5 ?

I think as far as what was taught in class, yes.
molecules might have angles of <109.5 if there are lone pairs present (eg in bent/angular shapes) as they have greater repulsion than normal bonds.
molecules with angles of >109.5.. I would assume there's only molecules with 120 degrees (as far as what was taught in class again) so like for trigonal bipyramidal, seesaw etc

Will we be required to know the bond angles on certain molecular shapes and how lone pairs affect the angles?

Yes, I think we should know generally which shapes have which bond angles, and how the placement of lone pairs affects the bond angles. For example, tetrahedral shapes have bond angles of 109.5, but if there are lone pairs, the repulsion between the lone pairs and bonds causes the bonds to be pushed closer together, resulting in bond angles <109.5.
