VSEPR Drawing
Will we need to know how to draw the VSEPR geometric shape in the official way or do we just need to know the bond angles?

Re: VSEPR Drawing
I'm pretty sure in the lecture professor lavelle told us that he would not ask us to draw the shapes on the tests because it is hard to grade.

You should know what the model looks like for you own self knowledge, but it is not required to draw it out during an exam. We only need to draw the 2D shape.

We don’t need to draw the geometric shapes, but we should know how it looks and it’s lewis structure.

I think it will depend on the question. If it asks for lewis structure, you will not need to do the geometric shape, but if it specifically asks for the geometric shape you probably will have to so it is best to know them.

We'll need to know the bond angles, and not necessarily how to draw the geometric shape, but we will need to be able to identify them.

I think we're expected to be able to tell the VSEPR formula, the shape, the bond angles, hybridization, and the lewis structures based on the homework problems assigned to us.

Re: VSEPR Drawing
On tests and exams, my TA said that you will need to draw ONLY the Lewis Structure and infer geometric information based on the formula. Since VSEPR requires 3D drawings we do not need to do it on neither tests or exams.
