Are molecular shapes and the bond angle only determined by the number of bonding pairs associated with the central atom of the lewis structure?

They depend on both the bonding pairs and the lone pairs.

It is determined by the locations of the bonding and lone pairs and the repulsion associated with those electrons

No because lone pairs would effect what the shape of the molecule would be. It would be both the number of bonds that are around the central atom as well as the number of lone pairs on the centeral atom.

No they're also determined by the number of bonds and the number of lone pairs on the central atom. The lone pairs are important because it makes the shape of the molecule.
