In the 6th Edition Chapter 4 HW #7 part b, how do the lone pair electrons on the sulfur atom repel the bonded pairs with O and Cl equally?

It has to do with the fact that they are both bonds. (vs it being lone pairs) because all ends are bonds and there are no lone pairs. the repelling is equally distributed.
