Names and Shapes of molecules

How many names and shapes of molecules are we expected to know? Are we expected to memorize these?

I think it will be however many he teaches us in lecture and I'm 99% sure they'll have to be memorized.

My TA told us to be familiar with linear, trigonal planar, angular (bent), tetrahedral, trigonal pyramidal, trigonal bi-pyramidal, seesaw, T-shaped, octahedral, square planar, and square pyramidal. You need to also know bond the different bond angles for each of these and understand the fact that structures can have the same shape but different bond angles. Another concept we reviewed was the wedge and dash model.
