I can't say I'm positive, but I don't think we will worry about that for VSPER in Chem 14 a. However, I think it is important for when you draw your Lewis structure though :)

Dr. Lavelle said that we wouldn't be drawing the models with wedges, so I don't think you have to worry about that.

The solid wedge is the one in the foreground, and the dashed wedge represents the one in the back

I'm pretty sure when we're using the wedges and dashed lines (vsepr structures) , we're only interested in showing electron density and the resulting shape and direction. So single bonds/double bonds/triple bonds are all treated as single bonds.

You won't have to draw double bonds or wedges. Just be able to visualize the shape from the given structure.

Lewis structures are the only thing we need to know how to draw in the context of 14a I believe.
