HW Question 2E21 Part D

Postby Isabel Bellon 4F » Sat Nov 24, 2018 9:02 pm

In this question, it asks for the bond angle of N2H4. The answer key says that it would be 107 degrees. I understand that it is a trigonal pyramidal and that it is supposed to be less than 109.5, but how was this exact value obtained?

Professor Lavelle said in class for ones that are slightly less than the norm, you have to just search it up, I think saying that it is less than 109.5 is fine for the homework.
