Shapes Not covered in Lecture

For test 3 and the final, do we need to know the VSEPR shapes that are not covered in lectures(like T-shaped)?

I believe that it would be good to know those shapes even if they weren't covered in lecture, since some VSEPR shapes (like T-shaped) are in the homework questions on the outline.

It is probably a good idea to know all of the shapes and how each one comes to be based on the regions of electron density and number of lone pairs. Creating a chart might be helpful with this.

It's probably a good idea to know that, especially if it shows up in the textbook. We can probably assume from previous tests that it would be fair game for the test since the same thing happened with nodes on the second test.

Because T-shaped came up in some homework problems, I would just know the shape in case it were to come up on the test.

its probably best to be prepared, just in case it does come up on the test, and since it is in the homework I'm sure its expected that we know it
