Determining Shape

For the compound ClO2+, how is the arrangement trigonal planar while the shape is angular?

CLO2+ has three regions of electron density (one lone pair and two double bonds), but since the name of the shape of a compound is only based on bonds and excludes lone pairs, its shape is angular/bent. In terms of electron density regions, however, it is trigonal planar.

The arrangement is just based on number of regions of electron density whereas the shape includes if the regions are lone pair vs bonds

the electron geometry would be trigonal planar, because we are not considering lone pairs, only the atoms. However if we want to know the shape, we would take into consideration the lone pairs of the structure, 1, so the shape would be bent.

Arrangement is solely based on the regions of electron density. The shape is only based on the location of the atoms
