There isn't really a difference. Both terms can be used to describe the the molecular shape of AX2E or AX2E2.

Bent is just another name for angular. they are synonyms .

They are the same but for exams, I would use bent for 2 bonds and one lone pair and angular for when it is 1 bond and 3 lone pairs.

Bent and angular are the same shape. However my TA said that for exams to use the term angular since that is the common term used in the textbook and practice problems

As everyone else has said, they are synonyms. But, the book says angular and that seems to be the more technical term.
