Is VSEPR going to be covered in the midterm? Especially now that classes were cancelled and we won't get to go over today's material.

Re: Midterm
Considering how important VSEPR is in chemistry overall as well as this class and likely further classes you'll take, I wouldn't be surprised if we were tested on VSEPR. It is a good idea to read over the section on VSEPR, which is 2E I believe. Also, I don't think we were going to go over VSEPR today; VSEPR is in the next unit that we'll do, according to Prof Lavelle's website. We were probably going to go over the other octet rule exceptions as well as 2D. If you feel uneasy that you're missing out on important information, you can always go back to the book.

Re: Midterm
My TA didn't mention anything about it in section so I don’t think we would be tested over it unless he mentions it in class Monday before the midterm.

Re: Midterm
Hi there! I highly doubt we will be tested on it on the midterm because we did not go over it in lecture. I believe he mentioned that sometime in lecture. Hope this helps!
